Greg Bradford – Principal

Greg Bradford has provided professional legal services as a Patent and Trademark Attorney for over six years.  His current practice focuses on advising trademark clients on the development and management of worldwide trademark portfolios, including providing guidance on proper trademark selection, risk minimization techniques, targeted filing strategies, and strategic enforcement efforts.  His streamlined approach to portfolio management has helped clients such as Lifefactory, Axure, and Quisk with effective and efficient management of their trademark portfolios.

Prior to joining The Mueller Law Office, Greg was Trademark Counsel for a Top-25 opposition-filing firm specializing in the development and management of worldwide trademark portfolios.  As Trademark Counsel, his practice focused on clearance, prosecution, and enforcement efforts for numerous worldwide brands for companies such as Zynga, WhatsApp, and Native Shoes.  He also gained extensive experience managing numerous opposition proceedings before the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, through which he developed a disciplined approach to avoiding trademark disputes and resolving adversarial matters in a favorable and efficient manner.

Greg is also a Registered Patent Attorney and has practiced patent law in the areas of physics, semiconductors, chemistry, and medical devices.  He previously contributed to an amicus brief related to patent infringement, which was filed before the U.S. Supreme Court in Global-Tech v. SEB.  He obtained his technical experience working as a chemical engineer for DuPont conducting R&D experiments on OLED materials for flat-panel displays.

Greg holds a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he was awarded two CALI honors for achieving the number one ranking in his class.  He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with Biochemical Engineering and Biomaterials Track from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

He supports his local community by providing branding advice and pro bono legal services to the University of California, San Diego mystartupXX accelerator program and CourseKey, a local start-up from the San Diego State University Zahn Innovation Platform Launchpad.
